Three out of five Tipperary seats now filled

Two new candidates have been elected.

Sitting Independent Mattie McGrath retained his seat, while newcomer Sinn Féin’s Martin Browne has gained a seat for the first time.

They will join Independent Michael Lowry in the 33rd Dáil.

The remaining two seats are expected to be filled this afternoon.

Nationally, 102 seats have been filled.
