New staff for South Tipp General have been appointed and are working on the wards.
10 healthcare assistants have taken up their roles at the Clonmel hospital, while another 10 have been approved with the recruitment process continuing.

Meanwhile, 7 new nursing posts have been filled…however the staff are coming from the Philippines and India so it will be a number of months before they are registered with the Irish nursing authorities start work.
