Negotiations Ongoing on Future of Dundrum House Hotel

There are fears for the future of over 100 jobs at the popular west Tipp hotel where it's understood employees have been given notice that unless a buyer is found for the property, it could shut within a month.

KPMG Accountants were appointed as receivers to Dundrum House Hotel last year when it got into trading difficulties.

The facility was badly damaged in a fire last September which led to the hotel part of the business not being able to trade however, the Golf Club, Leisure Centre and self-catering accommodation is running as normal.

According to local Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes negotiations are taking place with two interested parties.
