The CEO of Arrabawn says the company will achieve savings of over €2 million a year with the arrival of natural gas to Nenagh.
The North Tipp Co-Op is the principle customer for the new gas connection to the town which is currently under construction and should be completed by the summer.
Following a meeting with the General Manager of Gaslink, CEO of Arrabawn Conor Ryan said the connection will further growth at the Co-Op and result in savings of €2 million annually for the company.
Mr Ryan said that the savings equates to a 1 cent per litre for their suppliers and will reinforce their competitiveness.
