Lismalin Bridge in Mullinahone which was an 18th Century structure was washed away during serious flooding 18 months ago.
A new bridge was commissioned and today the 18 metre long by 6 metre wide structure to facilitate the local road over Kings River will be officially opened.
Environment Minister Alan Kelly will be on hand for the official opening ceremony along with Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Seamus Hanafin and members of the Carrick Municipal District
Cathaoirleach of the Carrick District Eddie O'Meara has welcomed the completion of the work
