Newport has lowest number of Ukrainian refugees in the country

Over 104,000 Ukrainian refugees are now living in Ireland.

CSO data up to the 4th of February shows women over the age of 20 made up almost half of all arrivals – with men over 20 representing just over a fifth.

Kenmare in Kerry is the area with highest number of arrivals in that time while Newport in Tipperary has the lowest.

This week marks the second anniversary of the Russian war on Ukraine.
