According to the latest report from GeoDirectory 1.7% of residential properties in the Premier County were sold in the 12 months from June 2015 to 2016 – this compares with a national rate of 2.1%.
According to the GeoView figures average house prices in Tipp were also among the lowest nationwide at just under the €130,000 mark.
The national figure stood at nearly €240,000 with Dublin as expected the most expensive averaging €380,000.
