The woman who was in her 40's was out with a group of about 30 hillwalkers – when she slipped and fell on Stradbally Mountain near Anascaul on Sunday afternoon.
Bad weather hampered efforts to locate her body – she was recovered by Kerry Mountain Rescue and Dingle coast guard shortly before 7 o'clock last evening.
An investigation's been launched into her death.
