Garda plea made to report Thurles crimes

There have been several allegations of assaults taking place in the Thurles area in recent days, however, Gardaí say they have not received any official reports. 

According to official figures, the level of assaults in the Thurles division is very low, however Gardaí say if someone is targeted the first thing they should do is report it.

Superintendent of Thurles Garda Station Pat Murphy says if Gardaí don't know about a crime, they can't investigate it.
