Officers have recovered a quantity of items including car accessories and other personal property which they believe were taken in suspicious circumstances from a number of unlocked vehicles since Saturday.
They are particularly anxious to speak with motorists living in or were parked along estates from the Tesco Roundabout to Davis Road including Ard na Greine, Sliabh na nBán Mews, Griffith Avenue and The Chase to check their cars.
Meanwhile two men are due before the District Court later this morning charged in connection with a series of offences in Clonmel from the early hours of Saturday up to yesterday morning.
