Permission has been granted for works at a West Tipperary school.
The Board of Management at Thomastown National School had sought permission to construct an extension to the building.
An existing pre-fabricated building will be demolished to make way for a new classroom and two learning support rooms.
Tipperary County Council has this week granted conditional approval for the project to proceed.
