Long awaited works at a dangerous bridge in Mid-Tipp are due to start next week.
Safety measures at Graigue Bridge have been called for for several years amid fears that a vehicle could end up on the railway line below the bridge between Pouldine School and the Yellow Lock
Earlier this year, a number of students on a school bus had a lucky escape when their schoolbus crashed on the bridge…while their driver suffered minor injuries.
Sinn Fein County Councillor David Doran says there have been a number of crashes there over the years.
