22,000 people from around the world are arriving in Dublin today for the fourth annual Web Summit.
Stars of the business, entertainment and sports worlds will take to the stage at the RDS – to explain how the internet has allowed them to change their own careers.
Participants from 109 countries, including 700 investors and 1,300 journalists, will attend the event which is the largest gathering of starts-ups in the World.
The summit is expected to generate over €100 million for the Irish economy, according to figures from Failte Ireland.
Speakers include Hollywood actress Eva Longoria and U2 frontman Bono.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will open the NASDAQ stock exchange from the Summit this afternoon.
