Ice and frost are causing difficulties again this morning as the cold snap continues.
Driving conditions are hazardous in places with road users being urged to slow down and drive with care after overnight temperatures dropped to minus 6 in some parts of Tipperary overnight.
While main roads have been salted caution is still advised on all routes.
Meteorologist Cathal Nolan says temperatures should start to pick up later today and over the weekend.
