It has been hoped work on the upgrade would be completed in time for the unveiling of new town park last week but was delayed due to leaks in the pool's pipeworks
However Tipperary County Council says the refurbished centre will reopen on Monday and includes a new Jacuzzi, communal changing village and a dedicated disabled dressing room.
The gym area which has doubled in size now caters for increased exercise equipment while there also a new Aerobics Studio
