38 of these are at University Hospital Limerick which serves North Tipp – an increase of 7 on yesterday’s numbers.
This is the highest number of any hospital in the country today.

Things have eased slightly at South Tipp General – however frontline staff there are still having to deal with 19 patients on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards.
In all there are 359 people without a bed at hospitals across the country.
