Tippo owner vows to rebuild

The owner of Tippo International has vowed to rebuild his company regardless of how long it takes.

The factory on the outskirts of Nenagh was gutted in a major blaze on Sunday night.

Years of work by the Martin family went was destroyed in a matter of hours last weekend leaving their 75 employees facing an uncertain future.

The Tippo International factory at Kilkeary manufactured vinyl wrapped PVC kitchen cabinet and wardrobe doors.

Paddy Martin says they will recommence production at an alternative location in the coming weeks.

The family live beside the factory on the Thurles road – on Tipp Today this morning Paddy spoke of watching it go up in smoke.

Fire crews from across North Tipperary spent hours tackling the blaze from when it was spotted at around 7 o'clock on Sunday…Paddy Martin paid tribute to them for their efforts.
