Last month, the court heard that David Nevin had a relationship with Patricia Dardis from March 2010 until January 2011. The relationship resumed briefly in April 2011 but ended again in June when Ms Dardis told David Nevin that she wanted no further contact.

The 40 year old, with an address of Terryglass, Nenagh, began harassing his ex in August 2012 using four phones and two different email addresses – the harassment continued until February 2013 at various locations around Dublin.

David Nevin has a previous conviction for harassment of another former partner from Cork Circuit Criminal Court in May 2011 for which he was bound to the peace.

Following his guilty plea, Judge Martin Nolan remanded the Tipperary man in custody and he's due to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Court later today.
