Locals are angry that the access which had been in place on Moyne Road is being blocked.
Among those taking up their case is local Sinn Féin representative David Doran.
The local residents group in Moyne Road had asked Tipperary County Council to upgrade the right of way.
Councillor Doran says the local authority’s response to this was staggering.
