A newly established community group in Templemore is to seek funding to reinstall fairy doors in the town park.
The doors, which are a major attraction for children, were put in place three years ago by a local resident out of her own pocket…but they had to be taken away a number of weeks ago due to some vandalism.
Locals in the town have expressed disappointment that the doors are gone as they proved popular with some schools coming from outside the county to visit the town park.
Templemore Independent Councillor Eddie Moran says they're hoping to bring them back.
