Son of well known South Tipperary horse trainer dies from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning

The alarm was raised on Monday night after the 30 year old and another friend were discovered in an unresponsive condition in an apartment complex in Las Heras – a city in the province of Mendoza. Both were subsequently pronounced dead.

Local police have launched an investigation but foul play is not suspected and their deaths are being treated as accidental.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the 30 year old’s family.
