There appears to be some confusion as to the rates bill being faced by businesses in Tipperary.
A re-evaluation is currently underway in the Premier County.
However Councillor Marie Murphy says some rate payers who have already received their certificate from the valuation office are concerned that they may be facing significant increases.
She’s moved to ease their concerns, saying this is not the case and is advising people to use the rates calculator on the county council website.
