Oireachtas members walk for charity

A group of TDs and Senators will brave the elements to  walk on the Galtee mountains in Co. Tipperary today.

This year's Houses of the Oireachtas hill walk gets underway from the Glen of Aherlow at midday today, and it's all in aid of charity.

The plucky politicians are raising money for Crumlin Children's Hospital – so far they've collected 15-thousand euro.

Arts Minister Jimmy Deenihan is leading the pack, which also includes T.D's from across Tipperary , Dublin TD Eric Byrne and Sinn Féin Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin
