New Trial date for O’Hara murder accused

Graham Dwyer of Kerrymount Close, Foxrock, was to stand trial in April next year but the case has been moved forward to next January.

Father of two Graham Dwyer is accused of murdering Elaine O'Hara on August 22nd 2012.

The remains of the childcare worker were found on Killakee Mountain in Rathfarnham last September, 13 months after her disappearance.

The 41 year old architect was to stand trial at the Central Criminal Court in April next year.

However in light of a recent failed bail application defence barrister Ronan Kennedy today applied for his trial date to be moved forward.

It'll now go on ahead on January 19th next. It is expected to last 6 weeks.
