The park includes an outdoor gym, children's playground, a skate park and zip-wire for older children.
The project was originally initiated by Nenagh Town Council which funded the development along with over €400,000 in Government monies.
The official opening ceremony by Minister Alan Kelly takes place at 12 noon today.
