Nenagh company scoops inaugural Tipperary County Enterprise Award

Echo IT were announced as the overall winners of the honour at a ceremony in Bru Boru in Cashel last evening.

Chimney Draught Stop from Templemore were runners up while The Scullery owned by Nenagh woman Florrie Purcell took third.

Among the category winners were Killenaule based Caravantasia in the Best Emerging Green Business section while the Technology Award went to Roscrea firm Herdwatch.

Portroe native Donal Bray of Echo IT says having the backing of the Local Enterprise Office and its predecessor the North & South County Enterprise Boards has played a huge part in helping the company build.
