The future of Nenagh Arts Centre has been secured.
The board of the centre on Banba Square decided recently to put the company into liquidation.
This decision was put down to the failure to reach a resolution with a contractor over work on the building.
An extraordinary general meeting of the members was due to be held this evening to pass a resolution to wind up the Arts Centre and appoint a liquidator.
However local Labour TD Alan Kelly says a deal has been reached to ensure the centre stays open.
