Ministry of Defence apologises over Iraqi teenager death

The British Ministry of Defence says it's “extremely sorry” for the death of an Iraqi teenager 13 years ago.

Ahmad Jabbar Kareem Ali, who was 15, drowned when he was “forced” into a Basra canal after being detained by British troops on suspicion of looting.

A report's found he was “aggressively manhandled” following his arrest before being taken to the waterway in an armoured vehicle.
