Limerick men go on trial for Collins murder

Two Limerick men have gone on trial at the non-jury Special Criminal Court for the murder of businessman Roy Collins, 5 years ago.

35 year old Wayne Dundon of Lenihan Avenue, Prospect and 23 year old Nathan Killeen of Hyde Road, Prospect deny the charge.

35 year old Roy Collins was shot once in the chest at the amusement arcade he ran at Roxboro Shopping Centre, on April 9th, 2009.

The prosecution is relying mainly on the evidence of 5 of the accused's associates, some of whom have been described as criminal associates.
