Islamic State forces in Iraq have abducted “tens of thousands” of men, women and children to use as human shields.
The UN says they've been taken from areas around Mosul – which Iraqi forces are trying to free from the militants.
A human rights spokeswoman says 232 people who refused to obey their orders were killed on Wednesday alone.
