According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 37 patients waiting for a bed today at South Tipp General Hospital…..this is up from 28 yesterday and is the third highest in the country.
Meanwhile the numbers on trolleys or chairs at University Hospital Limerick have nearly halved.
The INMO say 20 people who have been admitted from the Emergency Department there are without a bed…..this is down from 36 yesterday.
