The Department of Education is being accused of bullying parents into enrolling their children in Catholic Schools against their wishes.
The Humanist Association says a third of marriages last year were not religious, which points to an increasing number of parents who want non-religious schools.
It's Director, Brian Whiteside met with the Taoiseach and the Education Minister last Thursday and expressed concern at the growing number of children being turned away from Catholic and Church of Ireland schools.
He says they're hearing from many couples who can't get their child into a school unless they baptise them.
