Permission has been granted for a residential development specifically for the elderly in Clonmel.
Clerihan based Cooney Engineering & Construction are behind the plans for 18 bungalows at the junction of the Silversprings Road and Davis Road.
The dwellings will consist of detached, semi-detached and terraced 2-bed bungalows.
16 submissions were received during the planning process.
Tipperary County Council has this week given conditional approval for the project.
