52 patients without a bed at hospitals covering Tipperary

425 people are waiting on hospital trolleys across the country this afternoon with over 50 of them at hospitals serving the Premier County.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country with 39 people in need of a bed.

University Hospital Limerick has 31 people on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards while staff at South Tipp General in Clonmel are trying to find beds for 21 patients.
