20% of patients on hospital trolleys today are in UHL

With 104 patients left without a bed at University Hospital Limerick today it is once again by far the most overcrowded facility in the country.

In all there are 499 people being cared for on trolleys in Irish hospitals this afternoon with CUH in Cork the next busiest on 54.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are no beds available for 12 patients who have been admitted to TUH in Clonmel.
