Halligan sees abortion bill as courts issue

The new laws, put forward by the Independent TD Mick Wallace, would allow terminations in the case of fatal foetal abnormalities.

The Taoiseach says he was told by the Attorney General that the laws would be at odds with the constitution.

A vote is due on the issue on Thursday, but the Cabinet will continue to discuss it today.

John Halligan says there's still no definite decision on the possible abortion laws.
