The 20 year old was arrested yesterday morning in relation to a crash at Rathronan near Clonmel in the early hours of last Tuesday – he has since been released without charge. A file on the matter is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Clonmel Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have seen the black Honda Accord between 10 to 1 and 1.20 on Tuesday morning around The Quay, Anglesea Street, Dillon Street, Thomas Street, the Fethard Road and Glenconnor areas.

28 year old Daniel Conroy of Auburn Square was a front seat passenger in the car – he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. His funeral Mass takes place this morning.
