Flanagan to meet OCI President’s family

They'd requested the meeting amid fears over his well being while he was imprisoned in Rio.

The Olympic Council of Ireland President was released from Bangu Prison yesterday.

He's now under house arrest in Rio while police investigate allegations of ticket touting.

Mr Hickey has yet to be charged with anything.

Minister Charlie Flanagan will meet his family in Dublin later.

He said the health of Mr Hickey is of particular concern.

The OCI President was brought to hospital after being arrested and before he was placed in prison.

His family are said to have ongoing concerns about his health.

Mr Hickey insists there's no substantive proof of wrongdoing on his part.
