Joan Burton was speaking after the announcement in Portlaoise this morning that the ESB is to train 300 apprentices over the next five years.
It’s part of a 40 million euro investment in training and development at the ESB.
Minister Burton says she’s thrilled that there’s a renewed focus on trades and apprenticeships.
