Staff and students will be moving into their new extension at the school in Irishtown from today.

It’s the first part of a two-phase project, and consists of eight state-of-the-art classrooms with ensuite toilets as well as a multi-purpose room.

The second phase will see a total of 16 classrooms completed.

The school first opened its doors with 45 pupils in 1994.
