Dublin residents to march against gangland violence

They want to send a clear message that their community has had enough of gangland crime.

The peaceful protest will take place tomorrow night ending at the Monument in Buckingham Street, which remembers those who lost their lives to heroin addiction.

Sinn Féin TD for Dublin central, Mary Lou McDonald says the city is down 140 uniformed Gardaí, as a result of government cut backs.

She says its time for a policy of zero tolerance when it comes to drug gangs.
