Divisions in Cabinet over tax ruling

Fine Gael are at odds with the Independent Alliance over whether to appeal the decision, with the Independents demanding that the Dail be recalled before agreeing to a deal.

There's also trouble within Enda Kenny's own party as former Cabinet Minister Phil Hogan has indicated he supports the European Commission's decision that Apple should pay Ireland 13 billion Euro in back taxes.

Mr Hogan is Ireland's current European Commissioner.
