Almost 3-thousand homes around the country are without power due to the storm.
The biggest outage is in Athenry, Co Galway where 12 hundred households are affected.
ESB networks are also working to restore electricity to hundreds of homes in the towns of Belmullet and Ballyhaunis in County Mayo.
