Defence forces’ wives hold 24hr vigil outside Leinster House

Defence force members wives and partners, including those from Tipperary, are appealing for better pay for members of the Defence forces.

A 24 hour vigil is continuing outside Leinster House to highlight the issue of poverty among Defence Forces families across the country.

The group ‘Wives and Partners of the Defence Forces’ are demanding better pay and conditions for personnel in the army, naval service and air corps.
