Crash survivor urges care on Tipp roads

Jamie Kent was competing in a competition in Cork in October 2003 when the car he was in hit a wall.

His injuries included a broken back, pelvis, knee, fractured skull and a punctured lung.

As part of Tipp FM's Road Safety Campaign this week, Jamie spoke about his experience on Tipp Today with Fran Curry this morning.

Jamie, who now works as a road safety officer with Carrick on Suir Motor Club, says seeing the effects of crashes on people have changed his life.
