Council working with Rio authorities

The Olympic Council of Ireland says it has now formally asked authorities in Rio to pass on any evidence on alleged ticket touting.

Pressure is mounting on the OCI to explain how its tickets ended up in the hands of Kevin Mallon who was arrested last Friday with thousands of tickets worth millions of Euros for the Olympic Games in Rio.

Among his stock were hundreds of tickets destined for Team Ireland that he's accused of intending to sell at highly inflated prices.
