Concerns across Tipp over bank withdrawals

Bank of Ireland says customers won't be able to withdraw less than €700 or lodge less than €3,000 at the counter in some of its outlets from the middle of November.

Instead people will have to use ATM's or electronic banking thoung Bank of Ireland says people can increase their card withdrawal limit to €1,300.

However Tipperary County Councillor Martin Lonergan says a lot of elderly people will not be able to adapt to using ATM's of online banking.
