34 year old Sandra Higgins of The Beeches, Drumgola Wood in Cavan town, is going on trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to the baby at her home on March 28th, 2012.
The jury is presently being sworn for a trial before Judge Patricia Ryan.
