Caution urged as Storm Imogen batters the Premier county

A number of weather warnings are in place due to high winds – with the south west expected to be worst affected. 

Last night the storm knocked out power supply to around 2,500 properties across the country.

Anyone taking to the roads is reminded to slow down and to allow extra time for your journey.

Tipperary Gardaí say there are no major issues due to the storm but there is a lot of surface water on most routes.
