A Tipperary company has claimed the top prize in the Local Enterprise Village Awards.
Emerald Oils, which is based in Cashel, won the overall prize for 2016…the family-run business produces rapeseed oil for the commercial market.
The awards aims to acknowledge excellence across a range of industries including artisan food, craft and technology businesses.
A total of 84 small companies from each Local Authority area took part in the awards competition which took place at the National Ploughing Championships.
